VoIP Systems
Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) is a technology that converts your voice into a digital signal, allowing you to make a call directly from a computer, a VoIP phone, or other devices connected to your local area network or the Internet, and is used in many VoIP phone systems. Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) is the most commonly used protocol in VoIP phone systems. Digital Acoustics IP7 speakers, intercoms, and amplifiers appear as audio IP endpoints on your network and provide SIP as a standard feature that can be controlled by VoIP phones and other devices utilizing the SIP protocol.
TalkMaster Focus VoIP Connect Add-on Saves Time and Extension Costs
Digital Acoustics IP7 speakers, intercoms, and amplifiers support efficient SIP paging and intercom communications with our TalkMaster™ FOCUS software and included SIP firmware. Through the TalkMaster™ FOCUS VoIP Connect add-on software module, users can easily set up extensions in their VoIP phone system as zones or groups, enabling simple announcements and two-way communications. This also allows users to utilize a single extension on their VoIP phone system to create as many paging groups or zones as needed, saving valuable monthly and annual extension fees.
