IP Amplifiers
Digital Acoustics’ IP amplifiers provide IP audio over a standard Ethernet network connection. Our IP amplifiers turn analog speakers, horns, amplifiers, and other devices into IP endpoints on the network that can be accessed from anywhere on the network, locally or remotely. They also provide the ability to be used with our TalkMaster™ FOCUS software, SIP-based VoIP phone systems as a SIP or VoIP amplifier, an InformaCast system (license required), or other management systems with which we’ve completed integrations (see Integrations).
IP Amplifier Overview
Digital Acoustics’ IP amplifiers turn analog speakers, intercoms, amplifiers, and other devices into IP endpoints on an Ethernet network, enabling users unlimited flexibility to design an IP paging and notification system, a two-way communications intercom system, or an integrated paging and intercom system. They can be paired with new devices or used to retrofit existing analog audio devices and systems to be IP-based and accessible from anywhere on the network, locally or remotely.
The modular design offers superior scalability for both small and large applications. These cost-effective network amplifiers are available in 8- or 40-watt models and are capable of driving a single 8-ohm speaker or a group of speakers using optional 70V matching line transformers. Our IP amplifiers include ports to support speakers, microphones, and call buttons, as well as relay and sensor ports for door and gate access control. They enable access to safety and emergency systems and devices (i.e., fire and safety, panic and alert buttons, sensors) for automated audio paging and notifications, music players, and many other applications.
