Digital Acoustics’ IP intercoms provide high-quality two-way audio over local area networks (LAN) and wide area networks (WAN) with minimal bandwidth usage. They also include a relay port for door and gate access control.

IP Amplifiers
Digital Acoustics’ IP amplifiers turn analog speakers, intercoms, amplifiers, and other devices into IP endpoints on an Ethernet network, enabling users unlimited flexibility to update or retrofit existing audio devices and systems to be IP-based and accessible from anywhere on the network, locally or remotely. Our IP amplifiers include ports to support speakers, microphones, and call buttons, plus relay and sensor ports for door and gate access control. They also enable access to safety and emergency systems and devices (i.e., fire and safety, panic and alert buttons, sensors) for automated audio paging and notifications, music players, and many other applications.

IP Speakers
Digital Acoustics offers a variety of commercial, full-duplex and half-duplex IP-based speakers, including wall, bi-directional, and ceiling tile speakers that are cost-effective and simple to install and set up. They are ideal for paging and announcements, and they include our IP amplifier technology, allowing you to add a microphone and call button to also use them as two-way communication intercoms or utilize the relay port for door and gate access control.

Multi-Zone IP Audio
Our Multi-Zone Controller provides the ability to communicate with up to 48 zones, with each zone capable of supporting a microphone and speaker (full-duplex) through a single IP audio connection. It is ideal for use with remote monitoring security centers for retail stores or other locations that incorporate cameras for surveillance and require high-quality audio talk-down, manual and automated announcements, and/or two-way communications with staff at the monitored location. Any combination of microphone and/or speaker zones can be turned on and off by the calling party through supported security or video management systems such as InformaCast or IMMIX (see Integrations), SIP/VoIP phone systems, or custom software applications and systems through an integration using our software developer’s kit (SDK).

Our products are very flexible with regard to the system that they operate on, and you control. Control our product using our industry-leading TalkMaster™ Focus Software system (comes free with our hardware products), your SIP based VoIP phone system, with an InformaCast System or with one of the other security/video management systems we’ve done an integration (see Integrations). There is also the option through our software developer’s kit (SDK) for you, or we can integrate our IP audio products into your product or system.

At Digital Acoustics
Since 2003, we have pioneered IP audio technology with one clear goal: making IP communication systems more capable, more reliable, and more accessible—without requiring costly infrastructure replacement. We are experts in helping customers design intercom and paging/notification systems using our products alongside third‑party analog devices, or in retrofitting existing analog systems to operate on IP networks without the need to replace the entire system.
We also work closely with many original equipment manufacturers (OEMs), helping them design and implement IP audio capabilities within their products and communication systems.
