The IP System 1 Wall Speaker is a rugged, white, half‑duplex interior speaker that includes an 8‑ohm amplifier and an 8″ speaker. It is PoE‑powered and designed for interior IP paging, two‑way communications, and emergency notifications. It can be used in half‑duplex mode for two‑way communications (the speaker is used as a microphone, or an external microphone can be added). An optional call button (CIB2) can be purchased and attached to the speaker to provide the ability to call the base station for two‑way communications. A vandal‑proof, water‑resistant version is also available.

It can be used with the TalkMaster Focus System, a SIP/VoIP phone system, or a security and video management system with which integrations have been completed (see Integrations).

Description

The Wall Mount IP Speaker is an enclosed wall‑mount IP speaker, SIP speaker, or VoIP speaker designed for IP paging, SIP paging, and emergency notifications. It measures 11‑5/8″ square by 4‑1/8″ deep and is PoE‑powered.

This speaker supports half‑duplex two‑way talkback, using the speaker as a microphone.

It is also available in a heavier, vandal‑resistant housing with security screens behind the faceplate to protect the moisture‑resistant speaker. This version is suitable for outdoor use.
